1 Support the exhaust system with transmission jack (01) on rear muffler brace.

Operation step 2 only for model 172 with engine 271:
2 Mount assembly tool on decoupling element for the exhaust system.
To avoid damage to the exhaust system ensure correct assembly of the assembly tool on the exhaust system.
3 Unhook exhaust system from all exhaust rubber bearings (1).
Use antifriction paste if necessary.
4 Lower exhaust system
To avoid damage do not lower exhaust system more than distance (a).
