Removing and installing complete exhaust system

Removing, installing



Replace self-locking nuts and bolts. Pay attention to correct install position of flanges.

Use emery cloth to clean off combustion and corrosion residues at connection points if necessary



Inspect rubber pads, replace if necessary

Remove right bumper corner

Lower fuel tank

 Detach bumber from left side part and unbolt from vehicle. If suitable stowage facility available for bumper, it is not necessary to detach the electrical connections of the rear lamps.

Remove exhaust tailpipe (1)

 Turn exhaust tailpipe slightly when removing.

Remove exhaust muffler (2)

Remove exhaust muffler (3)

Unbolt bracket (4) at frame and exhaust pipe (6)

Unbolt bracket (5) at transmission

Remove exhaust pipe (6)



Install in the reverse order

 Install exhaust system free of stress
