| Replace self-locking nuts, bolts and gaskets. Pay attention to correct installation position of gaskets and flanges. Use emery cloth to clean connection points free of combustion and corrosion residues. Install exhaust system free of stress. | ||
1 | Slacken mounting clamp (2) from rear exhaust tail pipe (1) at main muffler (12) | ||
2 | Unbolt rear exhaust tail pipe (1) from bracket (3) | ||
3 | Take off rear exhaust tail pipe (1) | ||
4 | Slacken mounting flanges (5, 6) from rear left front muffler (4) | | |
5 | Take rear left front muffler (4) off bracket (7) | ||
6 | Take off rear left front muffler (4) | ||
7 | Separate plug connection of oxygen sensor at top left and O2 sensor at bottom left at left catalytic converter unit (8) | Cut off cable straps and expose electric cable of O2 sensor. | |
8 | Take off top part of heat shield (9) | ||
9 | Slacken mounting flange (10) at left flame pipe | | |
10 | Take bracket (11) off frame and take off left catalytic converter unit (8) | ||

18 | Slacken mounting flange (19) of right catalytic converter unit (17) at right flame pipe | | |
19 | Take bracket (20) off frame and take off right catalytic converter unit (17) | ||
