Remove/install

Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove clamping plate (1) for pressure lines

Unscrew nut (2)

Remove rear part of bottom part of sound-proofing

Unscrew pressure lines (4) at diesel particulate filter

Loosen pipe clamp (5)

Separate connector (6)

Loosen bracket (7)

Unscrew nuts (8).



Take out catalytic converter diesel particulate filter unit (9)

Install in the reverse order

Read fault memory, erase if necessary

 Stored faults which may be caused by removal, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work.



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
