G3/2x1 O2 sensor upstream of of CAT [KAT] connector

G3/1x1 O2 sensor downstream of CAT [KAT] connector

 	Remove/install
 Danger!	Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
1	Remove interior flap above engine		AR88.40-P-1100-03MCC
2	Detach connector of O2 sensor upstream of CAT [KAT] (G3/2x1)
Danger!	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
3	Raise vehicle with vehicle lift
4	Remove rear apron		AR88.30-P-0502MCC
5	Unscrew bolts (2) and remove together with the springs		*BA49.10-P-1006-01J
6	Unhook catalytic converter (1) from right rubber retainer (3) and lower until connector on O2 sensor downstream of CAT [KAT] (G3/1x1) is accessible.	 Installation: Check retaining rubber (3) for damage; replace if necessary.
7	Disconnect O2 sensor downstream of CAT [KAT] connector (G3/1x1)
8	Unhook catalytic converter (1) from left rubber retainer (3) and remove.	 Installation: Check retaining rubber (3) for damage; replace if necessary.
9	Remove sealing ring from exhaust pipe, check for damage and replace.	 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces on exhaust pipe and catalytic converter (1).
10	Remove O2 sensor upstream of CAT [KAT] and O2 sensor downstream of CAT [KAT] from catalytic converter (1)	When replacing catalytic converter (1).
		 Use a suitable 22 mm socket wrench.
		 Installation: Coat thread on O2 sensor downstream of CAT [KAT] and O2 sensor upstream of CAT [KAT] with paste.

11	Install in the reverse order
 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Perform engine test run and inspect exhaust system around catalytic convertor (1) for leaks
