Detaching

1 Remove the split pin in the castellated nut.

2 Loosen castle nut and unscrew until it is flush with the end of the thread of the tie rod end.

3 Pry the tie rod end off the track lever using the press out tool.

4 Unscrew the castellated nut.

Attaching

5 Hang the track rod on the track arm.

6 Screw on the castle nut and tighten to the specified torque .

7 Install the locking cotter pin of the castle nut.

Use a new cotter pin.
