1 Detach the nut (arrow A) on the hose clamp of the drag link end of the drag link at the front in the direction of travel.
T46.40-0029-01
2 Detach the nut (arrow B) on the hose clamp of the drag link end of the drag link at the rear in the direction of travel.

3 The basic setting is to performed by twisting the drag link (3) on the drag link ends.
In the process the front drag link end is to be held securely in the direction of travel and the drag link (3) turned sufficiently often until the threaded bolt of the drag link end (arrow C) fits exactly in the bore of the steering gear pitman arm (arrow D) .
4 Tighten the nuts (arrow A, arrow B) on the hose clamps of the drag link ends on the drag link (3) .
