Extract steering oil from expansion reservoir (30a) of power steering



Clamp off feed line of expansion reservoir (30a) of power steering



Detach return line (30f)

Seal off line connection with blind plug.



Remove expansion reservoir (30a) of power steering

 Use a suitable screwdriver to press off circlip (30c).

 Installation: Mount expansion reservoir (30a) of power steering on power steering (30) before it is installed.

Detach high pressure-expansion hose (30i) and intake line on power steering pump (30)

 Seal connections with blind plugs and clamp off intake line with clamp.

 Installation: Replace O-ring (30h).



Detach power steering pump (30)

 Installation: The following must be observed:

 Never recut thread ,

 When screwing in do not attach bolts obliquely and

 Do not use an impact wrench.



Install in the reverse order

Fill and bleed power steering pump (30)

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
