Oil refilling procedure

1

Always recommended to change the oil when any of the service procedure carried out in the power steering gearbox. Fill recommended oil in the steering reservoir. For the first filling and for oil changes recommended to remove the cover of the container and fill with hydraulic oil up to the max level of the container.

2

The engine must cranked with the starter in the order to fill the entire hydraulic system with oil. Since this causes the oil level in the container to fall rapidly the oil must continually topped up during this process.

Bleeding procedure

3

The engine can be started with steering axle jack up when the steering filling with oil so that the oil level no longer falls below the lower marking on the oil reservoir when the engine turned on.

4

Allow the engine to run for some time at low speed, thus allowing most of the air to escape from the cylinder. The oil level must observed during this process. The oil must topped up immediately if the level falls low.

5

Turn the wheels slowly towards extreme right and extreme left for ensuring the proper escape of air. This procedure needs to be repeated approximately 8 times to ensure escape of air.

6

When the above Instructions have been observed the oil level in the oil container must not rise higher than approximately 1 cm to 2 cm, when the engine switched off.

7

Switch off engine.

8

Ensure steering aligned to straight ahead position.
