Remove/install

Detach vacuum line (2) and vacuum hose (3) from vacuum pump (1)

Remove bolt (4)

 Bolt, throttle valve actuator to bracket for throttle valve actuator

Remove screw/bolts (5)

 Bolt, vacuum pump to cylinder head

Remove vacuum pump (1)

 Installation:
Insert drive plate correctly onto rear side of pump in drive plate groove on camshaft.
Otherwise damage may occur.

 Installation: Replace seal, clean sealing surface.

Install in the reverse order



 Danger !

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
