| Remove/install | ||
1 | Secure vehicle against rolling. | Release the air from the primary and secondary reservoir. | |
2 | Remove air compressor to air drier connecting metal pipe (1). | Air drier metric adapter must be hold while loosening the metal pipe nut. | |
3 | Remove air drier to system protection valve connecting hose lock nut (2). | ||
4 | Remove air drier to purge tank connecting hose lock nut (3). | ||
5 | Remove air drier (4) mounting bolts 3 nos from bracket. | Installation: | |
Installation: Ensure that the O-rings and seating locks are free from wear out, damage while installation, if found damaged replace with a new O-ring. | |||

6 | Remove air drier bracket (5) mounting bolts 2 nos from chassis. | Air drier bracket to the chassis | |
7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
Warning | Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. | |
8 | Allow the engine to run until the air brake system comes up to pressure. | ||
9 | Check pressure regulator cutoff pressure, adjust if necessary. |
