Remove screw plug from connection for external filling (1) on electronic air-processing unit (EAPU) (6.17) and screw on filling hose.
Use suitable adapter with M22x1.5 thread.

Connect filling hose to external air source.

Switch on ignition.

Fill compressed-air system using external air source.
Filling the compressed-air system via the tire inflation connector should only be done in an emergency. Otherwise, the compressed air system may be damaged, because the compressed air is not cleaned or dried and there is no safeguard against overpressure.

Switch off ignition.

Remove filling hose.

Screw in screw plug at connection for external filling (1) on Electronic Air-Processing Unit (EAPU) (6.17).
