Remove/install

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Protect vehicle against involuntary movement

Completely depress the compressed air system

 Connect the diagnostics system only in case of module replacement.

Separate the electrical connection at electronic air processing unit (EAPU)

Release the air inlet/outlet connections of the 4-way valve (6)

 Identify the pneumatic connectors.

 Tightening torque of the threaded connection

Remove the pipe nut (3) and the compressed air pipe clamp (2)

 Compressed air pipe fastening nut on the threaded nozzle.

 Tightening torque of the threaded connection

Remove the EAPU valve locking nut on a bracket(4)

Installation in reverse order
