| Remove and install | ||
1 | Turn off the general key or disconnect the battery negative cable | Preferably, we recommend that you disconnect the cable end of the fixed negative battery with screw to the chassis frame. Prevent the release of the negative cable to the batteries terminals. | |
2 | Depressurize the pneumatic system | ||
3 | Release connection screw (11) of air pipe supply (A) | Install: Use new sealing washers and tighten the screw with the specified tightening moment. | |

4 | Release pipe (E) connection (22) for the regenerative tank | Install: Use new sealing washers and tighten the screw with the specified tightening moment. | |

5 | Disconnect electric wiring from electro-pneumatic valve (solenoid) (3) | Install: Connect the wires connectors correctly in electro-pneumatic (solenoid) valve not to change the switches function on the instrument cluster. | |
6 | Disconnect the pneumatic pipes from electro-pneumatic pipes (solenoid) (3) connected to the engine brake cylinder and exhaust brake control cylinder | ||
7 | Remove other pneumatic pipes | Install: Use new sealing washers and tighten the screw with the specified tightening moment. | |

8 | Release nut (4) and remove electro-pneumatic valve (solenoid) (3) | Install: Assemble a new seal ring (5) and tighten the specified torque in nut (4). | |

9 | Release nuts (9) and remove four-circuit protection valve (2) from air dryer (1) | Install: Replace seal ring (6), washers (8) and tighten nuts (9) with specified torque. | |
| |||
10 | Release screws (10) and nuts (11) and remove air dryer (1) from support (13) | Install: Use new nuts (10) and tighten nuts (10) and screws (11) with specified torque. | |

11 | Install in reverse order | Work the engine until pressurizing the system with the operating pressure specified and check the air processing unit leak. |
