1 | Remove mounting bolt (6a) and remove rear rpm sensor at left, right | Replace bolts. | |
2 | Remove left or right rear axle speed sensor (L6/3, L6/4) | Installation: Check rotor on wheel hub for damage. Pay attention to cleanliness of magnetic tip. Fasten cables for rpm sensor in the retaining clips provided on the tie rod and ensure that they are not damaged when the suspension is fully compressed or rebounded. | |
Installation: Apply light coating of grease to bore in wheel carrier. | |||

3 | Pull off rubber grommet (3) over speed sensor connector (L6/3x1, L6/4x1) | For a left-hand rubber grommet (3) over the rpm sensor connector (L6/3x1, L6/4x1), also undo the nuts (1) and remove cover (2). | |
4 | Unplug speed sensor connector (L6/3x1, L6/4x1) | Installation: Ensure that components are correctly routed | |
5 | Install in the reverse order |
