Secure vehicle against rolling

Release parking brake

If possible.

Admitting air to the spring-loaded actuator relieves the thread of the bolt (1).

Unscrew bolt (1) as far as the stop


Do not use an impact wrench to unscrew the bolt (1).
Otherwise the combination brake cylinder can be damaged.

Start engine and fill compressed-air system up to the cutoff pressure

Turn off engine

Release parking brake

Admitting air to the spring-loaded actuator relieves the thread of the bolt (1).

Screw in bolt (1)


Do not use an impact wrench to screw in the bolt (1).
Otherwise the combination brake cylinder can be damaged.
