3 | Remove sensor cable bracket (2) | ||
4 | Remove shields (3) | ||
5 | Unhook outer return spring (6) using brake spring pliers (12) | Brake spring pliers | |
6 | Unhook inner return spring (5) using brake spring pliers (12) | Brake spring pliers | |
7 | Remove pin lock (10) | ||
8 | Remove brake shoe pin (11) and O-rings (7) | ||
| Install | ||
9 | Install brake shoe pins (11) and new O-rings (7) | Grease brake shoe pins and bushings | |
Use new microencapsulated hexagon head bolt | |||
10 | Insert inner return spring (5) using brake spring pliers (12) | Brake spring pliers Install with throw on end of spring to axle tube | |
11 | Insert outer return spring (6) using brake spring pliers (12) | Brake spring pliers Install with throw on end of spring to axle tube | |
12 | Skim new brake linings to the brake drum diameter | ||
13 | Mount shields (3) | ||
14 | Mount sensor cable bracket (2) | ||
15 | Install brake drum | ||
16 | Fit wheels |
