Remove brake shoes (2, 5) from rear axle

Detach and remove spring (3) from brake shoes (2, 5)

Detach spring (4) from adjusting lever (6) and from brake shoe (5) and remove

Turn adjusting lever (6) slightly counterclockwise, detach from lower guide on brake shoe (5) and remove

Assembly: Adjusting lever (6) must be positioned between threaded thrust rod (7) and brake shoe (5). Adjusting lever (6) must engage in star wheel (8).

Detach spring (1) and remove

Assembly: To facilitate attachment of the spring (1), attach the automatic adjuster (11) to the brake shoes (2, 5) using the spring (1).

Disassemble automatic adjuster (11)

Assembly: Locking pin of thermo clip (10) must engage in recess on thrust sleeve (9). Before assembly, screw star wheel (8) completely onto threaded thrust rod (7).

Assemble in the reverse order
