 Caution

Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from skin and eye contact with brake fluid

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Switch off ignition

Reduce pressure in pressure reservoir

 Fully depress brake pedal 30 times as far as the stop.

Remove fender liner in left-hand front fender

Detach connector for pressure switch (2) and connector for motor/pump unit (3)

Detach hydraulic line (4) from motor/pump unit (1)

 Seal the hydraulic line.

Remove screw/bolt (5)

 Installation: Place a washer (6) between the body bracket and rubber mount.

 Bolt, motor/pump unit to bracket

Remove motor/pump unit (1)

 Installation: Make sure that the pin (arrow) is correctly seated in the rubber mount.

Clamp off hose (7) using clamping device and detach

 Clamp

Install in the reverse order
