Measurement of distance between the brake disk and brake carrier added

Step 5.1

	Removing
1	Remove front wheels		AR40.10-P-1100RR
2	Check wear, condition of brake pads (3) and brake disk (1) using vernier caliper (2)	Brake pad thickness	*BE42.10-P-1001-05E

3	Remove left or right brake caliper on the front axle	 Hang up brake caliper with brake hose connected to one side and secure to prevent it from falling down.	AR42.10-P-0070RR
4	Remove bolt (4) and remove brake disk (1)
	Install
5.1	Measure clearance of brake disks (1) to the respective brake carrier	When replacing brake disks (1).	AR42.10-P-0230-03SM
		 Always replace brake disks (1) in pairs.

		If the clearance of the brake disk (1) to the brake carrier at one or several measurement points is below the specified minimum dimension, the steering knuckle must be replaced. Refer to: 
		Remove/install steering knuckle	AR33.25-P-0400RR
5.2	Clean wheel hub (5), grease centering surface (A) lightly with brake paste and tighten brake disk (1) with bolt (4)	If the brake disks (1) are not replaced.
		 Use new bolt (4) when assembling.

7	Fit front wheels		AR40.10-P-1100RR
