1 | Open engine hood and suction off brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir | Brake fluid replacement unit | |
2 | Remove brake pads from the front axle | ||
3 | Disconnect brake hose (2) from brake caliper (1), remove seals and seal openings with suitable plugs | Installation: Replace seals of brake hose (2). | |

4.1 | Fold down the folded-up brake caliper (1) and unscrew bolt (4) | Only when replacing the brake caliper (1) | |
Counterhold the guide bolt (5) when loosening the bolt (4). | |||
Installation: Install new self-locking bolt (4) | |||

4.2 | Pull the raised brake caliper (1) inwards of the brake caliper support (3). | Only when reinstalling the brake caliper (1). | |
5 | Remove brake caliper (1) | ||
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
