| Disassemble/assemble | ||
1 | Remove brake camshaft and bearing bracket (5) | ||
2 | Remove bearing bushing (7) of brake shoe pin from brake carrier (1) | Use a suitable drift. | |
Installation: Make sure that the bearing surface of the bearing bushing (7) is not damaged, as otherwise the brake shoe pins may be damaged. | |||
Installation: Grease bearing points. | |||
3 | Remove seal rings (2, 8) from brake carrier (1) | Installation: Replace sealing rings. Use a suitable drift. | |
4 | Remove bearing bushing (9) of brake camshaft from brake carrier (1) | Use a suitable drift. | |
Installation: Make sure that the bearing surfaces of the bearing bushing (9) are not damaged, as otherwise the brake camshaft may be damaged. | |||
Installation: Grease bearing points. | |||
5 | Remove seal rings (3, 6) from bearing bracket (5) | Installation: Install new sealing rings (3, 6). Use a suitable drift. | |
6 | Remove bearing bushing (4) from bearing bracket (5) | Use a suitable drift. | |
Installation: Ensure that the running surface of the bearing bushing (4) is not damaged otherwise it may cause damage to the brake camshaft. | |||
Installation: Grease bearing points. | |||
7 | Assemble in the reverse order |
