Only lift vehicle at the lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Raise front axle and lower onto jack stands

Remove front wheels

 Spherical collar nut

Detach cover panel above the brake wear indicator contact

Only on brake caliper with wear indicator.

Disconnect wear indicator electrical connector (1)

Only on brake caliper with wear indicator.

Remove securing pins (2) and take out cross spring (3)

Pull out brakepads (4)

 Installation: Only replace brakepads (4) in sets per axle.
Lubricate backplate of brakepads (4) and contact surfaces on brake caliper using hot lubrication paste.

Clean brake parts and check for wear and damage

Replace appropriate parts.

Install in the reverse order



Check

Press brake pedal repeatedly and build up brake pressure

Check brake fluid level, correct if necessary


