1 | Secure vehicle to prevent it from rolling away | ||
2 | Release spring-type brake cylinder (7) mechanically with release screw (9) | ||
3 | Lock brake lever (3) with locking pin (2) | The brake lever (3) must not be moved towards the brake caliper when working on the brake. If the brake lever has been moved towards the brake caliper, the parking brake adjusting mechanism must be reset. | |
4 | Detach compressed-air line (8) | ||
5 | Unlock and release pin (1) | Installation: Use new cotter pin (5) | |
6 | Remove spring-type brake cylinder (7) | The spring-type brake cylinder must not be opened without a clamping device due to the high spring preload. | |
7 | Install in reverse order | ||
8 | Check brake system for leaks |
