Danger!

Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Remove brake pads

 Installation: Remove or replace brake pads, according to condition.

Remove brake carrier with top section of brake caliper (2)



Apply parking brake

Remove locking bolt (4) of brake rotor (3)

 If necessary, install two lug bolts and apply counterpressure to the brake rotor (3) with the assembly bar.



Release parking brake and increase play of brake rotor

 Slacken adjusting wheel of brake shoe adjuster.

Slacken clamping screw on cam of pressure transformer unit for brake cables

Remove brake rotor (3)

 Installation: Check all brake parts for wear and damage.

 Clean contact surfaces.

 Brake disc thickness

Install in the reverse order

After installation 

Operate brake pedal several times until pressure has built up

Check fluid level in reservoir and correct if necessary



Hydraulic brake system - check fluid level, correct if necessary
