Check if the brake drum has cracks due to heat, furrows and wear

If there are cracks due to heat, furrows or wear:

Machine the inner surface of the brake drum or replace the brake drum.

If the inner surface of the brake drum has been machined or if the brake drum has been replaced:

Replace the brake linings (1).
