Remove/install brake drum

Remove and install

Remove the wheel

Release the parking brake

Turn the brake regulator (1) drive shaft up to the zero position

This way, it will be possible to remove the brake drum.

Install: adjust the play.

Mark the brake drum (4) and the wheel hub

Remove the brake drum (4) using the three bolts (5)

Tighten the bolts (5) crossed.

Install: observe the marking in the brake drum (4) to the wheel hub.

Clean the drum (4) and the brake lining (3)

Check the brake drum (4) and the linings (3) for wearing

Check the wheel hub support surfaces and the brake drum (4) for cleaning

If necessary, clean the support surfaces.

Install in reverse order
