Remove

Remove the wheel

Release the parking brake

Turn the brake drive shaft to the starting position

 Thus, it will be possible to remove the brake drum.

Mark the brake drum assembly position (3) and the wheel hub

Remove the brake drum (3) using the three bolts (4)

 Removal and installation tool

Clean

Clean the brake drum (3) and the brake linings (2)



Check

Check the brake drum (3) and the linings (2) for wear

Check the bearing surfaces for the wheel hub and the brake drum (3) for cleanliness

 If necessary, clean the bearing surfaces.



Install

Install the brake drum (3) using the three bolts (4)

 Follow the brake drum marks (3) for the wheel hub.

 Tighten the bolts (4) in cross.

Adjust the clearance between the brake drum (3) and the brake linings (2)
