Remove/install

Remove the wheel

Release the parking brake

Turn the brake shaft on the brake adjuster (1) back to the position zero

 Then, it will be possible to remove the brake drum.

Mark the brake drum (4) and the wheel hub

Remove the brake drum (4) using the three bolts (5)

 Tighten bolts (5) crosswise.

 Installation: Follow the brake drum marks (4) for the wheel hub.

Clean the brake drum (4) and the brake linings (3)

Check the brake drum (4) and the linings (3) for wear

Check the bearing surfaces for the wheel hub and the brake drum (4) for cleanliness

 If necessary, clean the bearing surfaces.

Install in reverse order
