Remove the protective plates (3)

Disengage the return springs (5, 6)

Remove the pins locks (10)

Remove the brake shoes pins (11)

Remove the brake shoes (4, 8)

Remove the O-Rings (7)



Install

Install new O-Rings (7)in the brake shoes (4, 8)

Install the brake shoes (4, 8) in the brake support

Install the brake shoe pivots (11) and the pivot lock plates (10)

Install the return springs (5, 6) with the brake shoe spring pliers (12)

 The elbows of the return springs (5, 6) should point to the support tube of the axle.

Machine the brake drum diameter to suit the new brake linings

Only when the brake linings are replaced
