Remove the inserts to allow for the movement of the caliper and facilitate the visual inspection of the bearing sealing Z protectors (9)

5.1

Clean and check the fixed bearing components related to cracks or damage

Replace the damaged components on the floating and fixed bearings with the related repairs.

The guide pins - caliper SN7000 (4b) and the guide pins of the fixed bearing (5) are sealed with the bearing sealing Z protectors (9) with the metal cap of the floating bearing (68b) and the metal cover - caliper SN7000 (10b).

5.2

Clean and check the fixed bearing components related to cracks or damage

.

Replace the damaged components on the floating and fixed bearings with the related repairs.

This procedure will only be possible if replacing the fixed bearing complete repair set. If repair is not replaced, metal cap (10a) will be pressed out.

The fixed bearing guide-pin (5) is sealed with bearing sealing Z protector (9) and metal cap - caliper SB7000 (10a).

The Z rubber cap - caliper SB7000 (10) with the clamp (31) may be replaced by the metal cap - caliper SB7000 (10a) with the metal sealing ring - caliper SB7000 (10.1a).
