Remove/install

Secure vehicle against rolling.

Switch off ignition.

Remove the third propeller shaft (24) mounting bolts from retarder rear side.

 Third propeller shaft mounting bolts to retarder rear side

Remove the third propeller shaft (24) mounting bolts from the differential.

 Installation: Rear propeller shaft assembly length is 1170 mm.

Remove the center propeller shaft (25) mounting bolt from retarder front side.

 Centre propeller shaft mounting bolts to retarder front side

Remove the center propeller shaft (25) mounting bolts from the center bearing flange side.

 Installation: Center propeller shaft assembly length is 980 mm.

Remove the front propeller shaft (26) mounting bolts from the gear box flange.

 Front propeller shaft mounting bolts to gear box flange side

Remove the front propeller shaft with center bearing (4) by removing the mounting bolts from the cross member.

 Installation: Front propeller shaft assembly length is 1347 mm.

 Front propeller shaft centre bearing mounting bolts to the front cross member

Install in the reverse order.
