 Align the vehicle horizontally in the longitudinal direction by loading with weights as appropriate.

Measure the inclination across the door sills, e.g. using a spirit level

Screw in threaded bolts (07n)

 Threaded bolts (07n) of cradle (07)

Screw threaded studs into threaded holes ("k."). Remove appropriate bolts (see picture) from rear engine crossmember (63) to do this.

Install cradle (07) horizontally and adjust fixtures (07r, 07s) according to the vehicle model concerned

Use connecting parts to attach telescopic measuring rod (06) to retaining bolt with bubble level (024b)

Use the relevant measuring bolt and measuring tip (024) for the corresponding distance or comparison measurement.
