1 In each case set up a jack stand (2) in the front and rear section next to the vehicle.

2 Place cord frame (1) onto jack stands (2) and pull tight.

3 Position front and rear jack stand (2) with cord frame (1) at side of vehicle so that dimension A (A) and dimension B (B) are of equal value.

Note down values for dimension A (A) and dimension B (B).

4 Measure along the cord frame (1) dimensions C (C) in the center area of the vehicle and note down.

The cord frame (1) and jack stands (2) must not be adjusted during the measuring procedure.

5 Compare the measured dimensions C (C) with dimension A (A) and dimension B (B).

Dimension A (A), dimension B (B) and dimensions C (C) must be identical. Otherwise the vehicle must be realigned until it is positioned straight on its longitudinal axis.
