Only one bolt (2) may be removed completely otherwise personal injury or property damage may occur.
1 Loosen bolts (2) on the trailing arm (1)
Only loosen the bolts (2) until the washers (4) between the trailing arm (1) and frame can be removed or installed. The nuts (3) must be connected to the bolts (2) with approx. 5 thread revolutions.
2 Install or remove washers (4) between the trailing arm (1) and frame.
The thickness of the washers (4) must be identical.
Use new nuts (3).
Each tome the washer (4) is removed or installed, install the bolt which has been removed (2) and the associated nut (3) immediately again.
The bolt (2) and nut (3) must be bolted to each other with approx. 5 thread revolutions.
3 Tighten nut (3) on trailing arm (1) .
Counterhold bolts (2).
4 Read off the current value for caster on the axle measuring device and compare with the specified value.
Procedures 1 to 4 must be repeated if the current value for caster does not correspond to the specified value
