Observe general information on chassis alignment

 After repair work, rock the vehicle firmly to settle its suspension before the measurement

Check vehicle level at front axle

 Insert measuring device (01) between the cam bolts of the transverse control arm mounting

Put contact arm of measuring device (01) against the transverse control arm and read off the plumb-line value of the vehicle level, seen from the vehicle center

Check vehicle level at rear axle

 Place measuring device (02) on rear wheel drive shaft

Vehicle level at front and rear axle outside the tolerance 

Adjust vehicle level by changing the springs or spring rubber mounts

On vehicles with level control a too low vehicle level must not be corrected by changing the level controller link rod (control point)

1. Check function of level control.

2. If OK, adjust the vehicle level by changing the spring or spring rubber mount
