1 Move front axle precisely into "straight-ahead position".
2 Place half of the steel straightedge on the left and right side of the frame in the same spot in front of the front axle.
3 Insert projectors into the projector brackets on the front axle.
The distance (a) has to be equal on both sides.
4 Project light beam on to scales and read off values.
1 graduation line on scale stand corresponds to 10 mm.
5 Half of the difference between the two values represents the lateral misalignment of the front axle relative to the frame.
