Steer the left front wheel to the left aided by the turntable (6) in the measure (a)
a 20°
2
Read out the steering angle of the right wheel on the right turntable scale (6)
Through the vernier a reading precision of 10' ( 1º = 60' ), where 5' intermediate values can be read out. The vernier's center marking supplies the number in full degrees. The reading of minutes is done on the vernier, as it is established: the right side half of vernier for the right half of the scale, and the left side half of the vernier for the left side half of the scale.
For further details of the checking sequence of the angle of Divergence in Curves, refer to the manual of the manufacturer of the checking device.

Calculate the difference of the convergence angle Example of calculation of the convergence angle difference: Inner wheel in the curve 20°. Outer wheel in the curve 17° 30'. Difference of convergence angle = 02° 30'.
