Installing and adjusting differential lock shift cylinder

D35.40-0007-01

1 Move shift cylinder to the applied position with hydraulic or pneumatic pressure.

2 Fit shift cylinder with new gasket on axle tube and screw in retaining bolts.

Do not tighten the retaining bolts.

3 Push shift cylinder towards the differential (arrow) until resistance can be felt.

4 Tighten shift cylinder bolts in this position .

5 Turn the axle shafts to check that the differential lock is engaged.

The differential lock must be engaged.
