| With the differential lock mechanism actuated, put the centering pin (7) in the gear sleeve (2).

| Measure the dimension “A” between the gear sleeve (2) and the gear (8) with a feeler gauge.

| Measure at 03 different points the region between the gear sleeve (2) and the gear (8).
|
|
| If the measured distance is not as specified, adjust the axial play of the gear sleeve (2).

| Remove again the stub axle (6) and the spring (4) and install again the respective compensation washer (5).

| Reduce the axial play: install a thicker compensating washer (5).
Increase the axial play: install a thicker compensating washer (5).
