Install joint flange at drive pinion

T35.30-0085-01

1 Slide joint flange onto drive pinion.

2 Install washer.

3 Screw on slotted nut.

If no locking plate is fitted, the slotted nut is provided with locking agent before screwing on.

4 Install clamping fork, centering disk and wrench socket.

5 Tighten slotted nut to the tightening torque .

While tightening the drive pinion crank it several times in both directions and release the load on the bearing with light blows with a plastic hammer.

6 Install new locking plate.

If the slotted nut is secured with a locking plate.
