1 Position feeler in bore for input shaft on thrust bearing.

2 Attach dial gauge to gauge stand .

3 Position the dial indicator holder on the portal housing and mount the tracer pin of the dial indicator under preload on the measuring drift .

4 Measure the axial play by moving the drive gear.
