2 | Drain transmission oil from planetary hub reduction drive | Refer to maintenance manual. | |
3 | Unscrew end cover (11) from bell hub (2) | Installation: - Clean sealing surface on end cover and bell hub. - Install new gasket (10). | |

4 | Remove locking ring (9), shim and thrust washer (8, 7) from bell hub (2) | Installation: Ensure that the thrust washer is seated with the flattened side on a plane with the smaller thrust plates of the planet gears (see figure). | |

5 | Pull out rear axle shaft (3) with sun gear (5) | | |

6 | Detach sun gear (5) from rear axle shaft (3) | Check sun gear for wear and damage. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
