1 Remove locking plate from slotted nut.
2 Fit retainer wrench (1) to propeller shaft flange.
3 Fit ratio wrench (2) with slotted nut bit (3) on slotted nut of propeller shaft flange.
4 Unscrew slotted nut and remove together with washer.
5 Remove retainer wrench (1) from propeller shaft flange and pull propeller shaft flange from drive pinion gear shaft.
6 Press guard plate (4) off propeller shaft flange.
