Detaching
1 Unscrew mounting bolts of ring gear (10).
2 Hammer down ring gear (8) on the circumference of the differential case (9) using a soft hammer.
Check complete gear set and replace if necessary.
Attaching
1 Heat up ring gear (8) to approx. 60°C.
2 Mount ring gear on differential housing, tighten new bolts 10.
It is essential to replace mounting bolts.
