Detach tapered roller bearing from ring gear


The differential tapered roller bearings must be replaced as a set.
Remove

1

Use the pressure part as a support on the crown gear (1).


Ensure the correct pressure part position when fitting it on the differential.

Install the puller claws on the underside of the taper roller bearing cage (2) .

Support the puller over the pressure part and pull the taper roller bearing (2) out of the differential case (1).
