1 | Remove the nuts (1), the washers (2) and the tapered washers (3) | ||
2 | Remove the axle shaft (5) | Support a plastic hammer on the center of the axle shaft flange (4), and knock a sledgehammer on the plastic hammer until detaching the axle shaft flange (4) from the housing. | |
| Install | ||
3 | Apply neutral silicone on the junction of the axle shaft flange (4) with the wheel hub (6), and around the screws | Avoid that the silicone enters the wheel hub (6). | |

4 | Install the axle shaft 5) in the rear axle wheel hub (6) | Take care not to displace the oil slinger. | |
5 | Install the tapered washers (3), the washers (2) and the nuts (1) | Slightly tighten all the nuts before tightening them with the final tightening torque. | |
Do not exceed the prescribed torque. | |||
Observe the prescribed tightening sequence. | |||
