Adjusting device
1 | Install the standard ring (1) on the check device (2). |
Pay attention to the correct seating of the standard ring supports (1) on the surface of the check device (2), as well as the seating of the supports (4) on the standard ring edge (1). |
2 | Install the dial gauge (3) in the check device (2) and have its measuring tip touching the tray type slider of the device and this latter one touching the standard ring edge (1). |
3 | Put a 2 mm pre-load in the dial gauge (3), which must be checked by the smaller hand (5). |
4 | Fasten the dial gauge (3) and reset the long hand (6). |
5 | Remove the standard ring (1). |
In this stage the device will be ready to carry out the measurement in the housing of the tapered group. Pay attention to check if the "zero" point of the gauge has been obtained with a 2 mm pre-load of the longer hand (5). |
