5 | Remove keyed washer (3) | ||
6 | Pull rear wheel hub (4) off wheel carrier (5) | Removal: Do not allow the removed rear wheel hub to rest on the still fitted ABS measuring ring. Installation: - Coat all around the fillet radius on the wheel carrier with Plastilube. - To avoid damage to the lip of the radial seal ring, to not tilt the rear wheel hub when pushing it onto the wheel carrier. | |

7 | Remove outer tapered roller bearing (6) from rear wheel hub (4) | Installation: After pushing on the rear wheel hub (step 6), heat the outer tapered roller bearing to approx. 60 °C and push onto the wheel carrier. | |
8 | Remove ABS measuring ring from rear wheel hub (4) | Installation: The ABS sensor must lie on the ABS measuring ring. | |
9 | Install in the reverse order |
