New tightening torque applied, see Fig. item 4th

 Installation

Replace self-locking nuts

 Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Check toe at rear axle and adjust if necessary

Tie rod

 Do not damage rubber boot.

 Box wrench for track rod hexagon nut at rear axle carrier.

 The rear axle shaft must be horizontal when tightening the nuts

Clean grease off ball head bolt and beveled seat in wheel carrier.

Press ball head bolt firmly into cone, hold with Allen wrench if necessary.

 Track rod to wheel carrier:

Rubber mount on track rod

 If necessary after checking:

Remove and install rubber mount on track rod

Unclip, clip in rear axle speed sensor line

If installed.

 Right-hand side: Additional line for brake wear indicator.
